How Old do I Need to be to Join TFS?

TFS is designed for adults 18 years of age or older. Because the community includes mature topics and sensitive discussions, membership is limited to individuals who are legally considered adults.

What Happens in the Vetting Process?

The vetting process helps ensure that The Free Sisterhood (TFS) remains a safe, supportive, and mission-aligned community. Every applicant is reviewed with care before joining to maintain the integrity, privacy, and wellbeing of all members.

Here’s what typically happens:

1. Application Review:
   Each applicant completes a form sharing their reason for joining and confirming agreement with TFS’s values, Terms of Engagement, and Privacy Policy.

2. Identity & Alignment Check:
   TFS reviews applications to confirm authenticity and that the applicant’s intentions align with our purpose — a safe, non-therapeutic space for education, support, and healing.

3. Moderator Evaluation:
   Our leadership or moderation team personally reviews each application. Some applicants may be contacted for a brief clarification or follow-up message before approval.

4. Approval or Decline:
   Applicants who meet community criteria receive an invitation to join. If an application does not align with TFS’s mission or safety standards, it may be respectfully declined.

This process ensures every member joins a trusted, compassionate environment where meaningful connection and growth can flourish.

What Do Other Members Learn About Me?

At The Free Sisterhood (TFS), your privacy and emotional safety are our highest priorities. What other members see about you is limited and always under your control.

When you join TFS, you create a member profile that may include your first name, general location (optional), and profile photo if you choose to upload one. Other members can also see:

• Your posts, comments, or shared reflections in public or group discussions;

• Your participation in events, workshops, or learning circles (if you opt in);

• Any personal details you voluntarily include in your profile or shared content.

TFS does not display or share your email address or phone number.
You may update, edit, or remove your information at any time within your account settings.

Please remember: once something is posted in a group or forum, other members can see it. Share thoughtfully and only what feels comfortable. Your story belongs to you, and your boundaries are always respected here.

What Happens if Another Member Makes Me Uncomfortable?

Your emotional safety matters deeply to us. If another member’s words, behavior, or messages make you feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or triggered — you are never required to engage.

You have several options:

• Mute or Block the member directly within the platform. This will prevent them from seeing or contacting you.

• Report the behavior to a moderator or administrator by emailing freesisterhood@gmail.com, using our contact form, or using the in-platform report option.

• Document the interaction (a screenshot or note) if you believe the behavior violates community standards or could escalate.

Our moderation team will review every report promptly and confidentially. Depending on the situation, actions may include a warning, content removal, suspension, or permanent removal of the member.

TFS reserves the right to take any measure necessary to preserve safety and integrity.

You are always empowered to protect your peace — we stand with you in doing so.

Membership & Payment FAQ

Can I cancel my membership anytime?

Yes! You can cancel your TFS membership whenever you want.

Just head to your account settings or reach out to us directly, and we’ll make sure it’s taken care of. When you cancel, your membership stays active until the end of your current billing cycle, but you won’t be charged for the next month.

Do you offer refunds?

Because TFS gives members immediate access to community content, events, and digital resources, we’re not able to offer refunds once a payment has been processed. If you cancel before your next billing date, you won’t be charged again — but we can’t refund payments that have already gone through.

How are payments processed?

All payments are handled securely through trusted third-party providers like Stripe, PayPal, or Mighty Networks. We never store your full payment information ourselves, and your data is protected under PCI-DSS security standards.

What happens after I cancel?

You’ll still have access to the community and resources until the end of your paid month. After that, your account will switch to a free or inactive status, and billing will automatically stop.

Can I request a new “room” for a specific type of experience or goal?

Yes! We love hearing what would be most meaningful and supportive for our members.

If you’d like TFS to open a room for a specific type of experience — for example, women healing from a certain kind of relationship, stage of recovery, or shared background — please send your request through our contact form.

Once we receive enough interest from members with similar experiences, we’ll open a new dedicated space.

TFS is a supportive community that provides education, connection, and peer encouragement for women navigating healing, growth, and recovery.
However, TFS is not a substitute for therapy, counseling, or professional mental health care.

Participation in TFS does not establish a therapeutic relationship between members and the organization, its administrators, or any facilitators.
We do not diagnose, treat, or provide individualized mental health services.

What if my experiences involve someone who may have traits of BPD or NPD?

The relationships that have led you to TFS may involve individuals who have not received a formal diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) or Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD).

TFS is not a diagnostic or clinical service, and we do not provide, confirm, or imply mental health diagnoses.

We also do not condone or encourage mislabeling anyone with a mental health condition. However, we recognize that many people experience relationships in which others display traits or behaviors similar to those associated with BPD or NPD.

If your experiences align with these patterns, TFS provides a supportive, educational space to foster understanding, emotional recovery, and personal growth.

1. Introduction

Welcome to The Free Sisterhood (“TFS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Eudokeo, Inc. DBA The Free Sisterhood. These Terms of Use (“Terms” or “TOU”) govern your access to and use of the TFS website at freesisterhood.com (the “Site”), our mobile application(s) (the “App”), community forums, content, and all related services (collectively, the “Platform” or “Services”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the current and any future versions of these Terms.

2. Purpose of the Platform

TFS provides a supportive, educational community dedicated to understanding, healing, and personal growth—especially for individuals recovering from emotionally harmful or manipulative relationship dynamics. TFS is not a therapy service, mental health provider, or clinical organization. All information and materials are for educational and peer-support purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical or therapeutic care.

3. Applicability; Platform & App-Store Terms

3.1 Scope. These Terms govern your use of the Site, App, and any services or content made available by TFS, including text, articles, information, graphics, video, downloads, chats, messages, contributions, and other content (collectively, “Content”).

3.2 App Access & App Provider Terms. To use the App, you must have a compatible device. We do not warrant device compatibility. If you download the App from Apple’s App Store or Google Play (each, an “App Provider”), you agree to the App Provider’s additional terms, which are incorporated herein by reference.

• Apple App Store. These Terms are between you and TFS (not Apple). Your use must comply with Apple’s terms and usage rules. Apple has no support obligations and no liability under these Terms. Apple is a third-party beneficiary for enforcement related to your App license.

• Google Play Store. These Terms are between you and TFS (not Google). Your use must comply with Google Play terms. Google provides the store only. Google is a third-party beneficiary for enforcement related to your App license.

4. Acceptance of Terms; Changes

4.1 Acceptance. By accessing, registering for, or participating in the Platform, you represent and warrant that you (i) have read and understood these Terms; (ii) agree to be legally bound by them; and (iii) consent to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines/Code of Conduct (Exhibit A), each incorporated by reference.

4.2 Updates. TFS may update these Terms at any time. The updated Terms take effect upon posting to the Platform and supersede all prior versions. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, discontinue use. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

5. No Medical, Diagnostic, or Emergency Services

5.1 No Diagnosis or Therapy. TFS is not a diagnostic service or mental health provider. We do not conduct assessments, render diagnoses, or provide therapy. Any references to BPD, NPD, or related conditions are illustrative of general behavior patterns—not confirmed diagnoses. Discussions are subjective and anecdotal.

5.2 No Psychological Advice. Moderators (including any licensed professionals who participate on the Platform) act solely as moderators and do not provide psychological treatment or advice on the Platform.

5.3 No Emergency or Crisis Care. TFS is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in crisis or immediate danger, contact:

6. Accounts & Eligibility

6.1 Account Creation. To access certain features, create an individual account (“Account”) and provide accurate information (e.g., name, alias/username, phone number, email, billing details). You agree not to create more than one Account or create an Account for someone else without permission.

6.2 Alias & Anonymity. For your privacy, we recommend using a nickname instead of any part of your real name as your public username. Usernames that are defamatory, obscene, offensive, or otherwise violate these Terms may be removed by TFS.

6.3 Credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. TFS is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your Account.

6.4 Age Requirement. The Platform is intended for individuals 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors; if we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.

7. Interactive Features

TFS may offer interactive features (e.g., direct messaging, chats, quizzes, reflections, feedback) (“Interactive Features”). By using them, you acknowledge and agree that:

• TFS is not obligated (but is entitled) to review/monitor/edit user content, and may remove content deemed inappropriate or in violation of these Terms or the Code of Conduct.

• TFS may process information from Interactive Features in accordance with the Privacy Policy (e.g., to improve services, safety, or user experience).

• Other users may follow, tag, or message you. Manage your settings accordingly.

• You are solely responsible for your communications and the consequences of sharing information.

8. Community Standards; Prohibition on Identifying Information

8.1 Respectful Conduct. Engage respectfully and responsibly. You must not harass, threaten, defame, impersonate, post illegal/offensive content, solicit/spam, or disrupt the community.

8.2 Confidentiality & PII. To protect privacy and safety, you must not share specific names or personally identifiable information (PII) of any person (including third parties) in public forums, private messages, or any interactive areas. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination and, when appropriate, referral to authorities.

8.3 Code of Conduct. You must follow the Community Guidelines in Exhibit A. Breaches may result in removal of content, suspension, or termination.

9. Content; Intellectual Property; Feedback

9.1 Ownership. All title, ownership, and intellectual property rights in and to the Services, Offering, and Content (excluding third-party content) are and will remain with TFS and its licensors.

9.2 License to You. Subject to these Terms, TFS grants you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable, limited, and non-transferable license to access and use the Platform solely for its intended purposes.

9.3 Restrictions. You may not modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Services/Content; resell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise provide access to any third party; scrape or use bots; or reproduce or disseminate Content except as expressly permitted.

9.4 User Responsibility. You are solely responsible for any information, materials, or communications you post.

9.5 Feedback. If you submit comments, ideas, or suggestions (“Feedback”), you agree they are non-confidential and non-proprietary and grant TFS the unrestricted right to use them without compensation.

10. Pricing, Membership, Payments, Free Trials, Refunds, Termination

10.1 Plans & Fees. Prices, plans, and payment terms are described at checkout or in the Platform and may be updated by TFS from time to time.

10.2 Payment Authorization (Recurring). By maintaining an active membership, you authorize TFS (or its designated PCI-DSS-compliant processor) to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

10.3 Free Trials. TFS may offer Free Trials at its discretion. The trial length and terms will be stated at sign-up and may change. Abuse of Free Trials (e.g., multiple signups) is prohibited and may result in termination.

10.4 Cancellation. You may cancel at any time through account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period.

10.5 Refund Policy. All fees are non-refundable, including for partial periods or unused services, except where required by law. (If TFS terminates your paid subscription without cause before the end of a prepaid period, TFS may, at its discretion or where legally required, provide a prorated refund—this is your sole remedy.)

10.6 Suspension/Termination by TFS. TFS may refuse, suspend, or terminate access or membership at any time and for any reason (including violation of these Terms, the Code of Conduct, safety concerns, disruptive behavior, or risk to TFS or its members), with or without notice. Upon termination, you lose access to the Platform and Content.

11. Third-Party Content, Links, and Platforms

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or content (“Third-Party Content”). Inclusion does not constitute endorsement. TFS has no control over, and is not responsible for, third-party terms, policies, accuracy, or availability. Access is at your own risk. TFS’s social media pages are governed by the respective platform’s terms and privacy policies.

12. Privacy; Data & Recordings; AI/ML Personalization

Use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy. TFS may, in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law:

• process usage data, device data, and cookies/analytics;

• (where offered and permitted) record or transcribe certain group meetings or sessions to improve services and safety; and

• use AI/ML or similar technologies to customize features and recommendations.
  We do not provide automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

13. DMCA Notice Procedure

TFS responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with 17 U.S.C. §512.

If your material was removed by mistake, you may submit a Counter-Notice with the information required by §512(g). Knowingly misrepresenting claims may create liability under §512(f). TFS may disable/terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

14. Disclaimers

AS-IS / AS-AVAILABLE. The Platform and all Content are provided “as is” and “as available.” TFS and its affiliates disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

NO GUARANTEES. TFS does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any Content; continuous, secure, or error-free operation; or any results from participation or use. You access the Platform at your own discretion and risk.

TELECOM/INTERNET. TFS is not responsible for failures of telecommunications or the internet, nor for misuse of information accessed through the Platform.

15. Limitation of Liability

Your sole remedy for any dissatisfaction with the Platform or Content is to stop using the Platform. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TFS, its affiliates, moderators, officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages (including lost profits), or for any emotional/psychological outcomes, arising from or related to: (i) your use or inability to use the Platform/Content; (ii) any interactions with other users or moderators; or (iii) these Terms—regardless of the theory of liability, even if advised of the possibility.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, TFS’s total cumulative liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid to TFS in the month of the event giving rise to liability or five (5) times the average monthly fees paid by a user to TFS, whichever is less. Multiple claims do not enlarge this limit. No action may be brought more than 60 days after the cause of action accrues.

16. Indemnification

Upon TFS’s request, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TFS and its affiliates, licensors, officers, directors, employees, consultants, agents, partners, and representatives from and against all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (i) your use or misuse of the Platform or Content; (ii) your violation of these Terms, the Code, or any law; (iii) your interactions with other users; or (iv) your violation of any third-party rights. TFS may assume exclusive defense and control at your expense; you will cooperate reasonably in the defense.

17. Governing Law; Venue; Miscellaneous

17.1 Governing Law & Venue. These Terms and any dispute related to the Platform are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue lie in the state or federal courts located in Charleston County, South Carolina, and you consent to such jurisdiction and venue.

17.2 Severability; No Waiver. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. TFS’s failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.

17.3 Survival. Sections intended to survive (including IP, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, payment obligations, and DMCA) will survive any termination.

17.4 Entire Agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Code constitute the entire agreement between you and TFS regarding the Platform, superseding all prior or contemporaneous agreements.

Exhibit A — Community Code of Conduct

1. Respect & Care. Treat all members with respect and care. Personal attacks, hate speech, harassment, inflammatory or discriminatory remarks are prohibited.

2. Authenticity & Accountability. Be genuine. Do not deceive, misrepresent, or spread false information. It’s okay to disagree respectfully.

3. Follow the Rules. Review and adhere to this Code and all Platform guidelines. Breaches may result in content removal, suspension, or termination.

4. Confidentiality & Privacy. Do not share personal details or identifying information about yourself or others. Respect anonymity at all times.

5. Communication Standards. Keep discussions on topic, supportive, and safe. Do not:
   • Post hostile, insulting, or harassing remarks;
   • Offer medical/clinical advice or prescriptions;
   • Post violent/self-harm content or anything endangering others;
   • Advertise products/services/events/research;
   • Post others’ personal data (photos, full names, phone, addresses, emails).

6. Safety & Well-Being. Help maintain a safe space. Report concerns to trust & safety. TFS is peer support only—contact emergency resources for crises (see Section 5.3).

7. Participation Etiquette. Show up on time, minimize distractions, and respect the group purpose and moderators’ guidance.

What’s shared in TFS stays in TFS.
You agree not to share, screenshot, record, or repeat another member’s story or identifying details outside the community.
TFS protects your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. However, please remember that information you voluntarily post in community spaces may be visible to other members. Share only what you are comfortable sharing.

TFS reserves the right to monitor and, when appropriate, moderate communications to maintain safety and compliance with our policies.

3. No Diagnosing or Labeling Others

TFS is a non-clinical, educational community — not a therapy group or healthcare provider.
We do not diagnose or label others’ behavior. You may discuss your experiences and emotions, but do not name or describe real individuals in a way that identifies them.

4. Inclusivity and Sensitivity

TFS welcomes members of all backgrounds, faith traditions, and life experiences.
We encourage open, respectful conversation rooted in compassion and humility. Differences in culture, belief, and experience are approached with curiosity — never criticism.

5. No Solicitation or Promotion

The Free Sisterhood is a marketing-free zone.
Members may not promote, sell, or recruit for any outside products, services, or organizations.

6. Support, Not Therapy

Membership is a privilege, not a right, and may be revoked at TFS’s discretion.

9. Intellectual Property and Content Ownership

All TFS content — including text, graphics, workshops, materials, and discussions — is the property of Eudokeo, Inc. DBA The Free Sisterhood and its licensors.
You may not copy, record, or distribute any TFS content, materials, or member contributions outside the platform without prior written permission.

By posting within TFS, you grant TFS a limited, non-exclusive license to use your content for internal community purposes (e.g., moderation, group discussions, and improvements).
